What is the VA Loan certificate of eligibility?

Qualified VA loan applicants will need their certificate of eligibility in order for a lender to provide a VA insured home loan.

This certificate establishes the loan amount the Buyer/homeowner is able to qualify for using the VA home loan.

Servicemembers, Veterans, and National Guard, Reserve Members and qualifying spouses maybe able to us a VA backed loan.

When you are shopping for a home and you are a VA eligible loan buyer, you need your DD214 / VA Loan certificate of eligibility.

There are two options for doing so.

OPTION 1.

1. You can contact the Veterans Administration. This maybe done in person, by mail or online.

OPTION 2.
